About
Born in Tel Aviv in 2001, Yael Koldovsky began to study piano at the age of 8 with Mrs. Tania Kozlov. Alongside her studies with Mrs. Tania Kozlov, she is currently studying with Prof. Arie Vardi at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University.
Prizewinner of national and international competitions, including “Take Two” piano duo competition, “Piano Forever" competition, “Pnina Salzman" competition, "Voice of music" young artist competition and Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes Concerto competition in Israel, "21st Century Art” competition and “Orbetello piano competition” in Italy, “Franz Liszt Center piano competition” in Spain, “Merci Maestro” competition in Belgium, "Four Notes International Piano Competition" in the UAE.
Yael has performed concerti with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Alicante University Philharmonic Orchestra, the Beer-Sheva Israeli Sinfonietta, the Ukraine National Symphony Orchestra, the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra.
She has participated in in many masterclasses with the best contemporary musicians from all over the world as a part of different projects and festivals – Music Fest Perugia in Perugia Italy, Tel Hai International Piano Masterclasses in Sde Boker Israel, International Festival "Dynasty" in Kyiv Ukraine, Aviv Kameri musical festival of chamber music in Israel.
Yael performed solo recitals in Israel, Kyiv, London and Prague, and participated in live broadcast concerts on the Israeli National Sounds of Music radio stream. In 2020 performed a solo recital as part of the Arthur Rubinstein Virtual PianoFest, and in 2021 served as a Junior Jury at the 16th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition.
Yael has received a scholarship from the Secrets of Culture (Tzfonot Tarbut) Foundation at 2013 and a full scholarship for lessons with the professor William Fong at 2020. In addition, she received scholarships from the American Israel Culture Foundation from 2014 till 2022. In October 2021 Yael completed her service in the IDF as an “Outstanding Musician”.
